Welcome to Akatrack The Akatrack walkway is a wilderness walking experience through the beautiful and secluded Akatarawa Valley 45 minutes drive north of New Zealand's capital city,Wellington. The walking season is from 1st October until 30th April.
The Akatrack walking experience encompasses walking through native and exotic forest and old milling sites, over historic bridges and along old bush tramways. All you carry is a day pack-we transport your luggage to your comfortable country accommodation. All meals are provided.
